Bartow County announces its Transit Department will resume operations beginning Monday, July 27th. All employees have either tested negative, recovered from COVID and subsequently test negative or tested positive, finished their isolation period without developing symptoms and can return to work. Trips can be scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. At this time, trips are still limited to essential matters such as obtaining food and health care. Bartow County Superior Court Re-Opening Guidelines
Bartow County intends to follow the guidelines established by the Superior Courts of the Cherokee Judicial Circuit in as much as reasonably possible to help reduce the transmission of COVID-19 among court employees and the public, to maintain healthy court operations and facilities for the public and to maintain a healthy work environment for court employees. Effective immediately, those wishing to enter the Superior Court of Bartow County courtrooms will be required to answer certain screening questions and have their temperature checked by trained County personnel. All persons admitted to the courtroom may be required to wear face masks while in the public areas of the courthouse. Masks will be available for individuals who do not have one.
