DIRECTIONS TO
THE BARTOW COUNTY ZONING DEPARTMENT
FRANK MOORE
ADMINISTRATIVE AND JUDICIAL CENTER
135 W. CHEROKEE
AVENUE, CARTERSVILLE, GEORGIA
From Atlanta, follow
I-75 North approximately 40 miles to Exit 288. Turn left from
Exit 288 off-ramp, and continue on East Main Street
approximately 3 miles, crossing over Hwy. 41 (Joe Frank Harris
Parkway) intersection, and continuing into the downtown
district. After crossing the railroad tracks downtown, take
right at next light (Erwin Street), then left at first light
(Cherokee Avenue).

Administration Bldg. is located at 135 W. Cherokee Avenue,
which will be on your right, directly behind the Old Bartow
County Courthouse.
From Hwy. 61 and 113,
follow Hwy. 61/113 North into Cartersville. Turn left at
Bartow Street (there is a red light there and the Cartersville
Police Department, Shaw Insurance, Regions Bank and the First
Presbyterian Church are the cornering landmarks, just before
entering the downtown area). Come one block to a 4-way stop
at Bartow St. and Cherokee Ave. and turn right.

Building will be directly to your left at 135 W. Cherokee
Avenue.
From Hwy. 41
(North or South), come to the intersection of Hwy. 41 (Joe
Frank Harris Pkwy.) and Church Street, (look for Burger King)
and turn west (toward Burger King). Go straight at the light
at Tennessee Street and over the bridge to the 4-way stop. Go
straight at the 4-way stop, past the Sam Jones Methodist
Church.

Building is directly behind the church, a brick building with
a green metal roof. You will be facing the rear of the
building from this direction, but you can come through the
parking lot to enter the front of the building.
Dalton/Chattanooga area, follow I-75 South to Exit #
288 (Cartersville/Main Street Exit), from the off ramp, turn
right, follow Main Street into town and across the four-lane
(Hwy. 41/Joe Frank Harris Pkwy.), continuing into the downtown
area. Cross the railroad tracks downtown, go to the next red
light, turn right (Erwin Street), go to the first red light,
turn left (Cherokee Ave.).

Building is to your right past the Old Bartow County
Courthouse with the gold dome.
