Welcome
The mission of
Keep Bartow Beautiful is to encourage community
environmental activities and behaviors, resulting in a more
beautiful Bartow.
Keep Bartow
Beautiful is a certified affiliate of Keep America Beautiful,
Inc. The program was certified in November, 2000, and operates
under an umbrella of support from the Bartow County government and
the city governments of Adairsville, Cartersville, Emerson, Euharlee, Kingston, Taylorsville, and White, with Board Appointees
from each. A diverse board of 20 community representatives from
business, industry, media, education, government, and civic groups
provide leadership in support of local, state and national goals
and objectives in the areas of litter and solid waste disposal,
recycling, waste reduction, composting, and beautification. Board
members meet the third Thursday of each month at 9 a.m. at the
Cartersville-Bartow Chamber of Commerce Board Room. The public is
invited—all meetings are open.
