The mission of Keep Bartow Beautiful is to encourage community environmental activities and behaviors, resulting in a more beautiful Bartow.

Keep Bartow Beautiful is a certified affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, Inc.  The program was certified in November, 2000, and operates under an umbrella of support from the Bartow County government and the city governments of Adairsville, Cartersville, Emerson, and Kingston, with Board Appointees from each.  A diverse board of 20 community representatives from business, industry, media, education, government, and civic groups provide leadership in support of local, state and national goals and objectives in the areas of litter and solid waste disposal, recycling, waste reduction, composting, and beautification.  Board members meet the fourth Wednesday of the month from noon to 1 pm, at the Bartow County 1903 Historic Courthouse (Gold Dome Building), 115 W Cherokee Ave Cartersville, GA 30120.  The public is invited—all meetings are open.

• Education Programs for all ages available on recycling, litter and community cleanups, trees, protecting our water resources, and more!
