Due to the success of the curbside recycling program conducted by the City of Cartersville, we will be closing the Douglas Street Recycling Center after business on Saturday, June 15, 2013. Recyclable material will still be accepted at the Industrial Drive, Ladd's, and Landfill Compactor sites. Local businesses wishing to recycle may participate in the City's curbside recycling program by calling the City Public Works Department at 770 387-5602.

Applications for part-time Compactor Site Attendants will be accepted at the Bartow County Human Resources office. Applicants will be called on a first come first served basis. We will hold applications for one year from the date of application.
