Welcome to Bartow County

Located approximately 45 miles north of Atlanta and nestled in the rolling foothills of the beautiful Appalachian Mountains, Bartow County offers an abundance of natural beauty and historical treasures to be enjoyed year-round.

With a population now exceeding 100,000 Commissioner Steve Taylor is committed to providing balanced growth through a strong tax base, a competitive job market and a variety of educational resources with recreational opportunities, needed infrastructure and public services that are second to none, while still maintaining a friendly "home town" atmosphere. This commitment makes our unique community one of the best places to live, to work, to play and to raise a family. So come visit us in Bartow County and see what makes us great!
