Advance Voting are a form of Absentee Voting that is an increasingly popular option with voters who have decided who they would like to vote for prior to Election Day. It offers the convience of voting on your schedule with the ease and security of voting on a voting machine.
Starting the fourth monday prior to any election, the Bartow County Board of Elections Office will be open to accept voters from Monday - Friday, between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This option is available to any voter registered in Bartow County and the only thing you will need to provide is an approved Photo ID (in most cases a driver's licence). Also, the second saturday prior to Election Day, the office will be open from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM.
The Cartersville Civic Center will be open as well to recieve voters from Monday until Friday, between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM during the week immediately preceding Election Day. Again, this option is available to any voter registered in Bartow County and all you will need to provide is an approved Photo ID.
Voting will end at both locations at 5:00 PM on the Friday prior to Election Day. After this time, the only voting option available to you will be to visit your Election Day Polling Place.
