Comments:

Each monument is an aluminum disk set in concrete. Each disk has been set in a concrete cylinder, usually set flush with the ground. Or the disk has been set in existing concrete, such as an existing concrete curb, sidewalk or catch basin. Every monument disk has been stamped with a small triangle, the center point in the triangle is the survey point.  TO REACH THE STATION, GO TO THE INTERSECTION OF US 41 AND 3RD ARMY ROAD IN COBB COUNTY. THE MONUMENT IS NORTH OF SAID INTERSECTION SET IN THE MEDIAN SEPARATING THE NORTH AND SOUTH BOUND LANES OF US 41.

This inspection was conducted to check current condition of monument and marker.
