Each monument is an aluminum disk set in concrete. Each disk has been set in a concrete cylinder, usually set flush with the ground. Or the disk has been set in existing concrete, such as an existing concrete curb, sidewalk or catch basin. Every monument disk has been stamped with a small triangle, the center point in the triangle is the survey point.  TO REACH THE STATION, TAKE NB I-75 TO EXT 283 (EMERSON/ALLATOONA ROAD) IN BARTOW COUNTY. THE MONUMENT IS SOUTH AND WEST OF THE INTERSECTION OF THE OFF RAMP AND EB ALLATOONA ROAD.

This inspection was conducted to check current condition of monument and marker.
