Each monument is an aluminum disk set in concrete. Each disk has been set in a concrete cylinder, usually set flush with the ground. Or the disk has been set in existing concrete, such as an existing concrete curb, sidewalk or catch basin. Every monument disk has been stamped with a small triangle, the center point in the triangle is the survey point.  TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE INTERSECTION OF US 41 AND MAC JOHNSON ROAD NW, GO NORTH WEST ON US 41 APPROX. 0.37 MILE TO THE STATION LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF US 41 BETWEEN THE ENTRANCE RAMP OF US 411 SOUTH AND US 41 SOUTH IN THE GRASS.
