Each monument is an aluminum disk set in concrete. Each disk has been set in a concrete cylinder, usually set flush with the ground. Or the disk has been set in existing concrete, such as an existing concrete curb, sidewalk or catch basin. Every monument disk has been stamped with a small triangle, the center point in the triangle is the survey point. TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE INTERSECTION OF US 41 AND GREEN RIDGE ROAD SE, GO NORTH ON US 41 APPROXIMATELY 500' FEET TO THE STATION ON THE LEFT LOCATED IN THE MEDIAN ON THE NORTHBOUND SIDE OF US 41.
