 The Business License Office is
located inside the Bartow County Annex Building
at the corner of West Cherokee and Erwin Streets. Our office is responsible for
the collection of fees associated with
Occupational Tax Licenses, Malt Beverage
Licenses and Massage Therapy Licenses for
businesses located in the unincorporated area of
Bartow County. If your business is located
within the city limits of any municipality, you
must contact that municipality to obtain a
business license.
To obtain a Bartow County Business License you
must first complete an application. You may
obtain the application from our office or
download one from our web site. Once you have
completed the application, you must return it to
our office along with the appropriate fee.
Business License are issued Monday through
Friday between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. All
businesses are required to comply with
applicable Zoning Ordinances. For more details
regarding rules and regulations imposed by

Important Notice:
Effective July 1, 2008
pursuant to Georgia Law O.C.G.A. 43-41 Builders
and General Contractors will be required to have
a contractors license as issued by the State of
Georgia Licensing Board in order to obtain
construction permits in the State of Georgia.
