REASONS FOR CHANGE
Land Value Adjustment
- Due to several sales in a neighborhood increasing
because of inflation. The Assessors office will
reassess all land to bring the property up to its
true Fair Market Value for that year.
New Building –
New structure (house,garage,barn,etc.)
on property, that was finished by
January 1 of this
year.
Building Value Adjustment –
Any additions or renovations to
any structure that is located on property. Also
includes Building being demolished.
Combining real estate parcels –
Requested by the owner in
a return that two or more parcels that are under the
same ownership, and are adjacent to one another,
have been combined into one tax parcel and one tax
bill.
New Parcel –
Parcel has been created for the
current tax year due to a real estate property deed
transferring part of a parcel into a new owner(s).
New Parcel & Structure –
Same as above plus new structure has
been added to new property.
Change of Ownership –
The Assessors Office has received a
real estate property deed transferring property into
a new owner(s).
